Superb location - in quiet residential area a stone's throw from the major Istanbul sights such as Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Sistern etc. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable with 3 balconies, some looking out to sea. Roof terrace is a great location for breakfast with views over the sea. Recommend a stroll down to the seafront at sunset and then turn right to find load of great waterfront seafood restaurants serving that's day catch. Mehmet and staff were great at making us feel looked after and welcome and was happy to provide recommendations and advice about what to visit. I'm sure we'll be back!

The hotel was a reasonable price, the room was large, attractive and clean with three tiny balconies, two armchairs, airconditioning and a glimpse of the sea. It was easy walking distance to all the main sites of the old city and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was clean but there was a slight smell at times as is common in such old buildings.

This little gem of a hotel has newly renovated rooms and an extremely attentive and helpful staff. The roof garden breakfast space is a treat too. Our room had a modern bath and everything was spotless.
Although in a safe location, the street on which the hotel sits is not very charming. There was a little noise from both within and outside the hotel until late into the night.

In one word: Excellent! This small hotel is a gem in the heart of Sultanahmet. Good value for money, so clean that you can feel a nice smell in everywhere, rooms are spacious and nice decorated with confortable beds. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a great beggining of day with a nice Bosphorus´s view, good variety and good service. I spent 20 days in Turkey and this was the best hotel that I stayed in, even I have stayed in 5 stars hotels and in another hotel in Sultanahmet. Mehmet Kaya is really doing a great job in front of that beautiful hotel! I would highly recommend this hotel.

I liked: - just one minute to Blue Mosque & Aya Sofia, but still in a quiet corner w/ no street noise (you hear the passing train tough but it does not pass by night so sleep not a problem) - extremely friendly staff, both at reception and ladies making breakfast - cute little breakfast room on the rooftop w terrace and view of Marmara Sea - the best way to start a day

The staff were very helpful. The price is just right for a place close to the tourist area in Istanbul. I would recommend the hotel highly to other tourists.
The room is quite small.

Good location and good staff.
Bathrooms at the first floor has a very bad smell. In addition, it is expensive for a hotel without good facilities such as room service, spa and a lobby. Berce hotel is only a place to sleep in and nothing more. I think there should be more services in the hotel due to the price that is paid by people.
